Thanks to the generous support of RBC, the AGO presents a trio of exciting programs designed to celebrate and support emerging artists: artists-in-residence, artist-researcher mentorships and a public workshop series.

Call for Artist-Researchers

Three paid hybrid research mentorships available in 2025
Deadline for submissions: May 9, 2025, at 5:00 pm EST
Each selected artist will complete a month of research mentorship between June and August 2025

Artist-in-Residence Placements 2024

2025 AGO x RBC Artists in Residence

Presented as part of the 2025 AGO x RBC Artist-in-Residence Program. This year, artists are asked to respond to the AGO’s collections, education activities and public programs. We invite the winter residency artist to think about engaging with families during March Break; the spring residency artist to collaborate with youth; and the summer residency artist to interpret the collection through new media practice.
